We had breathtaking views of two adult Golden Eagles during our Isle of Islay Wildlife Experience with Iolo Williams and guests!
We encountered two adults which we think had just lifted off a nearby carcass due to the corvid activity as well. This is one of 9 pairs present on Islay and due to local knowledge we found out that this pair failed to produce any young this year. This is common with Golden Eagles on the west of Scotland due to less food availability and more hostile conditions.
