An amazing natural treasure discovered on a recent Mull Nature Expedition...
From a distance this object had the shape of a curlew skull but then on closer inspection we discovered that it was in fact a pellet with a curlew feather sticking out of it!!
The pellet would most likely be from a Great Black-backed Gull.
