Mull, Isle of Mull, Mull Wildlife, Nature Scotland,

An avian master...

We have been privileged to encounter seven species of dragonflies on excursions in June! The major highlight was two Northern Emeralds on the wing in north Mull, a species restricted to north-west Scotland and south-west Ireland. I did not manage a photo of the Emerald but here is a Golden-ringed Dragonfly seen on a recent tour.
