Buzzing...

A few reasons to be buzzing...

On a beautiful frosty morning on #Mull I was treated to Coal and Great Tits in good song today. Yesterday out on the moors I had Rock Doves singing from their coastal caves and Ravens performing aerial courtship rituals.

Last week we had 2 Goldcrests in good voice and also a Song Thrush performing a very abrupt sub-song!

The Buzzards (pictured) are showing well at this time of the year, perched up in exposed areas in search of prey. We have seen them catching voles this winter and also eyeing up any movements in the mole hills in recent weeks!
