Day 1
We all met in Tobermory at headed out to explore the northern part of the island. A moorland walk to start things off, and we managed a glimpse of a Hen Harrier and enjoyed watching a few Green Tiger Beetles. Redpolls were overhead.
We headed further west and as we had hot drinks and cake, enjoyed sky dancing Hen Harrier, Short-eared Owls and a distant Golden Eagle. We managed another SE Owl before arriving back to Tobermory to finish the first day.
Day 2
We ventured south today and at our first stop we enjoyed stunning views of an adult WT Eagle sat up in pine trees lit up by the sunshine. Further round the sea loch, we got distant views of an Otter out on the reef and Great-northern Divers, Red-breasted Mergansers and a Black Guillemot.
We checked a Golden Eagle territory and after a bit of patience we got a GE on the wing, breaking the skyline. After lunch in a local woodland, we carried on round the south of the island and back through a mountainous glen. We stopped in a layby and watched a juv Golden Eagle, 3 WT Eagles and a Raven in the same airspace! Red Deer were up on the hill ground as well.
A final stop on the east coast managed Curlew, Oystercatcher and some Eider ducks.

Day 3
We headed to the SE of the island as the sunshine continued! A woodland stop to start, and we enjoyed Siskin, Redpoll, Chaffinch, Coal Tits and Grey Herons.
Further south we did a coastal walk and watched 2 Otters on the far coastline and also a young female Adder on the track!
A scan of the coastline produced Harbour Porpoise, GN Divers and Shags. Turnstones and Ringed Plovers were also seen.
Day 4
The wall to wall sunshine continued as we headed off to check a high view point looking over western Mull. Theo managed to spot a Minke Whale a long way off, with a few guests getting eyes on it.
We headed south from here and enjoyed a displaying Golden Eagle directly overhead as we had lunch! Another big highlight of the day was a skydancing male Hen Harrier showing superbly...performing that sensational rollercoaster display!
Day 5
On the final day, we headed across to Ardnamurchan. Harbour Porpoise and Gannets on the ferry, and a juv WT Eagle was fleetingly seen when across there along with GN Diver. A stunning female Emperor Moth was spotted by Louise as we were waiting for the ferry back to Tobermory where we arrived back to and said our goodbyes.
